A Simple Way to Add More Greens to Your Day

This Super Greens Powder is a homemade wellness staple made from fresh collard greens, kale, cucumbers, and celery. By blending, dehydrating, and finely grinding the greens, you create a concentrated powder that’s easy to add to smoothies, juices, soups, or water—no daily chopping required.

Making your own greens powder gives you full control over ingredients, freshness, and quality. It’s a clean, plant-powered way to support digestion, energy, and overall health while reducing food waste by using every part of the produce.

Ingredients

  • Collard greens
  • Kale greens
  • Cucumbers
  • Celery

Step-By-Step Instructions

1. Prep the Greens

  • Wash all vegetables thoroughly.
  • Roughly chop collard greens, kale, cucumbers, and celery.

2. Blend

  • Add the vegetables to a high-speed blender.
  • Blend until fully broken down and smooth.
  • If needed, add a small amount of water to help the blender move.

3. Dehydrate

  • Strain the blended mixture, reserving the pulp.
  • Spread the pulp evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Dehydrate in the oven at the lowest possible temperature (around 170°F) until completely dry. This may take several hours.

4. Grind Into Powder

  • Once fully dried and brittle, transfer the pulp to a blender or spice grinder.
  • Blend until a fine powder forms.

5. Store

  • Store the greens powder in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

Pro Tips & Serving Suggestions

  • Make sure the pulp is fully dehydrated to prevent clumping or spoilage.
  • Use a spice grinder for the finest powder texture.
  • Add 1–2 teaspoons to smoothies, juices, soups, or water.
  • Store away from heat and moisture to preserve nutrients.
  • Start with small amounts if you’re new to green powders.
