Ingredients

For the Sweet Potato Filling:

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
  • 4 oz butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • Zest of 1/2 orange
  • 1 tbsp fresh orange juice

  • 3 cans refrigerated crescent rolls

  • Sugar, for sprinkling
  • Cinnamon, for sprinkling
  • Heavy whipping cream, for pouring

For the Icing:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sweet cream creamer

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make the Filling

  • Mash cooked sweet potatoes.
  • Mix with butter, sugars, spices, orange zest, juice, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

2. Add Filling & Layers

  • Spread sweet potato filling evenly.
  • Add another layer of crescent dough.
