Ingredients
For the Jerk Bacon Jam
- Bacon, chopped
- Onion, chopped
- Salt
- Garlic, minced
- Brown sugar
- Maple syrup
- Chopped jerky (beef or pork)

- Mustard

- Jamaican marinade sauce

- Burger buns
- Pickles

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Make the Jerk Bacon Jam
- Cook chopped bacon in a pan until crispy.
- Add chopped onion to the bacon fat, season with salt, then stir in minced garlic.
- Add brown sugar, maple syrup, chopped jerky, and hot sauce.
- Stir well until thick and jammy.
- Transfer to a jar and set aside.

2. Make the Burger Sauce
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard until smooth.
- Chill until ready to use.

3. Prep the Beef
- Place ground beef in a bowl.
- Season with salt, pepper, and Jamaican marinade sauce.
- Mix by hand and form into 3 equal-sized balls.

4. Slice the Veggies
- Using a mandolin, thinly slice jalapeños and onions for layering on the patties.

5. Smash the Patties
- Heat a hot skillet or griddle.
