Inspired by classic scampi but infused with a bold twist of smoked paprika, Dijon mustard, and Old Bay, this dish is rich, tangy, herb-loaded, and layered with texture from a lemon-garlic breadcrumb crumble. Ingredients

For the Shrimp

  • 1½ lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Pinch of sugar

For the Lemon-Garlic Breadcrumb Crumble

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon-infused olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, plus more for layering

Optional Garnish

  • Cheese-stuffed sweet mini peppers
  • Fresh lemon juice, to finish

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Season the Shrimp

  • Toss shrimp with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  • Arrange in a spiral, tucking each one under the next.

2. Make the Scampi Sauce

  • Whisk together butter, olive oil, garlic, wine, lemon juice, zest, red pepper flakes, mustard, herbs, and seasonings.

3. Layer the Dish
