These Candy Apple Glazed Ribs are all about bold flavor and irresistible texture. Crafted by @prestigecookingllc, they’re a sweet and smoky twist on classic barbecue — tender, juicy, and finished with a sticky glaze that clings to each bite. Whether you’re grilling outside or keeping it indoors, this oven-friendly method guarantees deep flavor and that perfect pull — not fall-off-the-bone, but just right.

The secret? A rich, candy apple-inspired glaze made with apple jelly, brown sugar, and butter, layered over ribs seasoned with a savory rub and zippy mustard binder. Expect a mouthwatering balance of sweet, tangy, and smoky in every single bite. These ribs hit different — crackly on the edges, succulent in the center, and glazed to glossy, caramelized perfection.


Ingredients

For the Ribs

  • 1 rack pork ribs (membrane removed)
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard (binder)
  • 3 tbsp BBQ rub (creator used Cosmos)

For Moisture

  • 1 cup apple juice + splash of water (for basting)

For the Wrap

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

For the Glaze

  • Apple jelly (main ingredient)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Clean and Prep the Ribs

  • Pat ribs dry and remove the membrane from the back.

2. Apply the Mustard Binder

  • Coat both sides of the ribs with a thin layer of yellow mustard.

3. Season the Ribs

  • Generously season all sides with your favorite BBQ rub.

4. Bake First Round

  • Place ribs on a wire rack and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes.

5. Baste with Apple Juice

  • Remove ribs and baste with diluted apple juice.
  • Return to the oven for 30 more minutes.

6. Wrap in Brown Sugar & Butter

  • Place ribs on foil with brown sugar and butter.
  • Wrap tightly and bake another 30 minutes.

7. Make the Glaze

  • In a saucepan, combine apple jelly with the other glaze ingredients. Simmer until thick.

8. Glaze & Broil

  • Unwrap ribs, brush with glaze, and broil on low for 15 minutes until caramelized.

9. Serve and Stun

  • Let rest for 5 minutes. Slice and serve while hot and sticky.
