Ingredients
From Trader Joe’s
- 1 pack wild raw Argentinian red shrimp
- 1 container TJ’s lobster bisque
- 1 loaf TJ’s focaccia bread
- 1 pack spaghetti (or any pasta you like)
- 1 fresh lemon
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro or parsley
- 1 cup baby tomatoes
- ½ medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
Seasonings
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Butter and olive oil, for cooking
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Season the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry and season with Old Bay, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Sauté the Base
In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil; add onions, garlic, and baby tomatoes with the same seasonings.

3. Cook the Shrimp
Toss in shrimp and cook for 3–5 minutes, just until pink (don’t overcook!).

4. Add the Bisque
Pour in TJ’s lobster bisque, stir well, and let simmer on low; finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

5. Boil the Pasta
Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente, then reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.

6. Combine & Finish
Toss pasta directly into the shrimp bisque sauce; stir in a splash of pasta water and loads of Parmesan.

7. Toast the Bread
Sear slices of focaccia in butter until golden brown and crisp.

8. Serve It Up
Top pasta with chopped cilantro or parsley, more Parmesan, and a slice of buttery focaccia on the side.

Pro Tips & Suggestions
- Don’t skip the pasta water — it helps the sauce cling perfectly.
- Use precooked shrimp to save more time — just reduce cooking time.
- Add red pepper flakes for heat, or a splash of white wine to elevate the bisque.
- Pair with a glass of chilled white wine or sparkling water for the full after-work vibe.
