Juicy Lobster, Savory Noodles, and a Sweet-Salty Sauce That Brings the Flavor

This Lobster Lo Mein recipe takes a classic Chinese takeout dish and levels it all the way up. Juicy lobster tail meat meets springy noodles, all tossed in a deeply flavorful sauce made with soy, oyster, and hoisin sauces, with a hit of brown sugar and water to balance it out.

It’s sweet, salty, and savory with just enough richness to make it feel next level. Perfect for special occasions, dinner flexes, or anytime you’re craving restaurant-style flavor from your own kitchen.


Ingredients

Sauce Ingredients:

  • ⅓ tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup water

  • Lo mein or egg noodles, cooked and drained

  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., carrots, snap peas, cabbage)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine:
    • Soy sauce
    • Oyster sauce
    • Hoisin sauce
    • Brown sugar
    • Water
  • Whisk until sugar dissolves and set aside.

Step 2: Stir-Fry the Veggies

  • In a wok or skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and stir until fragrant.
  • Toss in vegetables and bell peppers, sautéing for 2–3 minutes until just tender.

Step 3: Add Noodles and Lobster

  • Add cooked noodles to the pan and pour in the sauce.
  • Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated.
  • Gently fold in the lobster meat and heat through for 1–2 minutes.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve
