A Tender, Flavor-Packed Pork Recipe Perfect for Any Occasion

When it comes to tender, juicy, and flavor-packed pork, this Honey-Glazed Pork Tenderloin is a Southern-style showstopper. The combination of a spiced rub, Dijon mustard, and a sticky-sweet honey glaze creates a dish that’s ideal for weeknight dinners, Sunday meals, or impressing guests.

Inspired by classic Southern cooking and the modern ease of pantry staples, this recipe layers flavor in every step—from the Creole spice rub to the golden sear and final roast. The result is a dish that’s crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and impossible to forget.


Ingredients

For the Pork Tenderloin

  • 2 (¾ lb) pork tenderloins
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Earthy Herby Creole seasoning
  • 1 tsp all-purpose seasoning (That’s Good Right There! or your favorite)
  • 1 tsp garlic & parsley seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder

For the Honey Glaze

  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (or frozen garlic for convenience)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Pork Tenderloin

  1. Clean & Dry: Rinse the pork tenderloins and pat them completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Dijon Mustard Base: Rub Dijon mustard all over the pork to help the seasoning stick and add depth.
  3. Make the Rub: In a bowl, mix Creole seasoning, all-purpose seasoning, garlic & parsley, and onion powder.
  4. Season Generously: Press the spice blend into the pork on all sides. Don’t rub—press!

Step 2: Sear to Lock in Juices

  1. Heat a large skillet (we call her Miss Brenda) over medium-high heat.
  2. Add a little oil, then place the tenderloins in carefully.
  3. Sear until golden brown on all sides to lock in moisture and flavor.
  4. Transfer the pork to a foil-lined roasting pan.

Step 3: Make the Honey Glaze

  1. In a bowl, whisk together:
    • ⅓ cup honey
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
    • 1 clove minced garlic
  2. Mix until smooth and fully combined.

Step 4: Roast to Perfection

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Pour half of the honey glaze over the pork and brush it evenly.
  3. Roast for 45 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 145°F.
  4. Halfway through, baste with the remaining glaze for a sticky, caramelized finish.

Step 5: Rest & Serve

  1. Remove from oven and let rest for 10–15 minutes to retain juices.
  2. Drizzle with any leftover glaze for added shine and flavor.
  3. Slice into medallions and serve warm.
