A Southern-Inspired Pastry You’ll Fall in Love With

This Peach Cobbler Danish combines the buttery layers of puff pastry with a creamy cheesecake filling and juicy spiced peaches for a dessert that’s as comforting as it is elegant. Finished with a coconut-cinnamon glaze, it’s the best of both worlds—warm, gooey cobbler flavors wrapped in a handheld pastry. Perfect for brunch, dessert, or anytime you want to impress with something that looks bakery-level but is easy to pull off at home.


Ingredients

For the Peach Filling

  • 2 cups diced peaches
  • ¼ cup white cane sugar
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 splash heavy cream
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Mixture

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp white cane sugar

For the Pastry Base

  • Puff pastry sheets (store-bought, thawed)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch seasoning (or cinnamon sugar blend)

For the Icing

  • 2 tbsp minced coconut shavings
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • Leftover peach skillet glaze

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make the Peach Filling

  • In a skillet pan, combine diced peaches, white cane sugar, brown sugar, heavy cream, and cinnamon.
  • Cook over medium heat until the peaches soften and the mixture becomes syrupy.

2. Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture

  • In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, vanilla bean paste, cinnamon, and sugar until smooth.

3. Assemble the Danishes

  • Line puff pastry sheets on a baking pan and slice them in half.
  • Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each piece.
  • Top with a spoonful of peach filling.
  • Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle with Cinnamon Toast Crunch seasoning.

4. Bake the Pastries
