Using Miss Lena’s Blackberry Jam and Peach Preserves, we’re taking simple syrup to the next level—infusing natural fruit flavors to create a cocktail that’s sweet, tangy, and packed with tropical goodness. Whether you prefer tequila or rum, this recipe is flexible and guaranteed to impress your guests!


Ingredients: What You Need

For the Blackberry Simple Syrup:

  • ¼ cup Miss Lena’s Blackberry Jam
  • ¼ cup water

For the Peach Simple Syrup:

  • ¼ cup Miss Lena’s Peach Preserves
  • ¼ cup water

For the Frozen Blackberry Rum Cocktail:

  • 4 oz rum
  • 2 oz Triple Sec
  • 3 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz blackberry simple syrup (add more if you want it sweeter)
  • 2 cups frozen blackberries
  • 3 cups ice cubes

For the Frozen Peach Rum Cocktail:

  • 4 oz rum
  • 2 oz Peach Schnapps
  • 3 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz peach simple syrup (add more if you want it sweeter)
  • 2 cups frozen peaches
  • 3 cups ice cubes

Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: Make the Simple Syrups

  1. In a small saucepan, combine blackberry jam and water, whisking until smooth.
  1. Simmer on low heat until the jam dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Repeat the process with peach preserves and water for the peach simple syrup.

Step 2: Blend the Blackberry Layer

  1. In a blender, add rum, Triple Sec, lime juice, blackberry simple syrup, frozen blackberries, and ice.
