National Chicken Soup Day
National Chicken Soup for the Soul Day is celebrated annually on November 12th. The day is a way to reflect on emotional issues and find inspiration for a more fulfilling life. It’s also a day to celebrate who you are, where you’ve been, and who you’ll be thankful to.
Origins: National Chicken Soup for the Soul Day is actually a media, consumer good, and self-help business that is situated in Connecticut’s Cos Cob area. The brand is familiar thanks to its series of books entitled Chicken Soup for the Soul. The first book follows inspirational stories about ordinary people. In the early 1990s, motivational speakers Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield founded Chicken Soup for the Soul Publishing in Cos Cob, Connecticut. The publisher and consumer goods company began publishing in 1993.
