Cajun Heat Meets Creamy Ranch Comfort

This pasta brings bold Cajun spice, crispy bacon, and ranch-seasoned chicken together in a pot of creamy, cheesy perfection. It’s rich, savory, and packs just the right amount of heat.

Ingredients

For the Chicken & Bacon

  • 2 chicken breasts – boneless, skinless
  • 4–6 strips of bacon
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp dry ranch seasoning

For the Sauce

  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Seasonings (same as above) to taste

For the Pasta

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini work great)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Season the Chicken

  • Coat chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, ranch mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika—on both sides.

2. Cook the Bacon

  • In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy.
  • Remove and set aside.

3. Sear the Chicken

  • In the same pan, add the seasoned chicken.
  • Cover with a lid and cook through, flipping once.
  • Dice and set aside once fully cooked.

4. Make the Sauce

  • Add minced garlic to the same pan.
  • Pour in heavy cream and re-season with your spice mix. Let it thicken slightly.

5. Add the Cheese

  • Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella. Mix until melted and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

6. Combine Everything

  • Add cooked pasta, diced chicken, and bacon back into the sauce.
  • Toss to coat everything evenly.

7. Serve + Garnish

  • Top with fresh parsley and serve hot with garlic bread on the side (optional, but encouraged).
