You’re about to make the most refreshing, sweet, and tart limeade you’ve ever tasted! This Homemade Pomegranate Limeade is bursting with bold flavors, blending the natural sweetness of fresh pomegranate juice with the bright kick of freshly squeezed lime juice.

A touch of coconut sugar simple syrup balances everything out, making this drink smooth, vibrant, and perfectly refreshing. Whether you serve it over ice, mix it with sparkling water for a fizzy twist, or turn it into a cocktail, this recipe is sure to become one of your favorites.

Ingredients

For the Pomegranate Limeade:

  • 1 fresh pomegranate
  • 2 cups cold water (1 cup for blending, 1 cup for later)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

For the Simple Syrup:

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup coconut sugar

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make the Simple Syrup

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
  2. Add coconut sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
  1. Set it aside and let it cool.

2. Extract the Pomegranate Juice

  1. Cut the pomegranate in half and remove the seeds.
  1. Add the seeds and 1 cup of cold water to a blender.
  2. Blend until the seeds break down and release their juice.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp. Press to extract all the juice.

3. Mix the Limeade

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the pomegranate juice, lime juice, and the remaining 1 cup of cold water.
  1. Stir in the cooled simple syrup and mix well.

4. Serve & Enjoy

  1. Pour over ice and enjoy immediately!
  1. Optional: Garnish with lime slices or pomegranate seeds for an extra fancy touch.
