National Irish Coffee Day
January 25, 2024
National Irish Coffee Day is celebrated on January 25th. It’s a day to enjoy a mug of strong coffee, Irish whiskey, sugar, and a layer of cream.
Irish Coffee, or caife Gaelach in Irish, dates back to 1943 when it was first invented by chef Joe Sheridan while working at Foynes airport near Limerick, Ireland.
